AI credits
The unit Stride meters AI usage in. Every paid plan includes a monthly credit allowance that scales with seats, and each AI generation draws from it — heavier requests consume more. Credits are spent only on actual AI work, and the in-app meters show usage and allowance in credits. When the allowance runs out, you can top up with one-time credit packs.
Credits decouple what a customer sees from raw provider costs: usage, allowances, and top-ups are all shown in credits rather than dollars, so pricing stays stable even as model costs shift. Settlement happens at the end of each billing period — usage above the included allowance draws down your purchased balance, and AI pauses only when both the allowance and the balance are exhausted. Unused purchased credits roll over and never expire.
